Measures to reduce electrode consumption
The project aims to improve the sustainability of steel mills and round steel manufacturing processes by implementing advanced technologies and actions focused on waste recovery, reducing material losses and optimizing the use of raw materials and consumables. Key initiatives include the use of waste such as CEC in electric furnaces, automation of material addition processes, reduction of electrode consumption through protection systems and the implementation of robotic precision in billet trimming, all of which contribute to a more efficient and environmentally friendly production cycle.
