EEACERIA

New energy saving measures in the steel mill process

The EEACERIA project aims to implement a series of technological advances to reduce both thermal and electrical energy consumption, improving process efficiency, achieving significant energy savings and improving competitiveness and overall performance. Key objectives include the design and implementation of advanced technologies in Electric Furnaces 1 and 2 (HE1 and HE2) and the modernization of the CC2 control systems to optimize the monitoring of the smelting processes used to produce billets in CELSA's plants. By integrating these innovations, the project aims to improve operational efficiency and sustainability in all of CELSA's steel production facilities.‍
